Always having been an avid reader, I ironically found the study of languages challenging. So I was elated when I discovered the elegant language of accounting. Now I assist my clients in writing the financial stories of their companies.
I formed FINdetail in order to combine a number of my top passions in life, accounting, optimizing processes, and helping others.
Now I don’t work a single day of my life, I just help clients I love by doing what I love.

Biography
Melanie McTaggart | Founder, Managing Director and CEO (chief evolution officer)
Melanie has in-depth experience in the accounting industry having served as CFO of a hedge fund and as an auditor with Ernst & Young, working in their New York City and Cayman Islands offices. Melanie graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School of Business obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Economics with concentrations in Accounting, Finance and Business Ethics. She obtained a Master of Professional Accounting from McCombs School of Business. Melanie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. She is a QuickBooks Online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor. Melanie is a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants.
